A design studio built into your library
You do not need a separate design app or an online tool that wants your photos uploaded. The collage studio lives inside Photo Date Rescue, so it draws directly from the library you have already organized into Memories and Albums. Everything renders on your PC, and every finished piece is saved back into a dedicated “PDR Collages” album.
What you can build
Layered collages
Start from a layout and arrange your photos into a single composition. You can adjust frames, apply effects, add dividers between images, and drop in text using the built-in text studio. Because layers are independent, you can nudge, resize and restack until it looks exactly right.
Multi-page carousels
Carousels are the swipeable posts that perform so well on social platforms. PDR lets you build several pages as one project, keeping a consistent style across every slide so the whole set feels designed rather than assembled.
Sized for where it will be seen
Nothing kills a good post faster than an awkward crop. The studio includes ready sizing for social formats — including the tall 1080×1350 Instagram portrait — with safe-zone guides so important faces never get clipped by interface overlays.

Your photos, your machine
Every image you place comes from your own library, and nothing is uploaded to make a collage. That is the same local-first principle behind the rest of the app, explained in privacy and network activity. When you are done, share the result with Send to Phone over your local Wi-Fi, or export a file to post yourself.
Common mistakes to avoid
- Ignoring the safe zones. Faces placed at the very edge can be covered by a platform’s caption or buttons.
- Mixing wildly different styles across carousel slides. A consistent look is what makes a set feel designed.
- Building from a scrambled library. If dates are wrong, your “summer 2015” set will not actually be summer 2015 — repair first.
- Exporting at the wrong aspect ratio. Use Magic Resize rather than cropping a finished design by hand.
